Dennis House’s departure from the WFSB anchor desk left a void at Face the State, the Sunday public affairs program that he hosted. WFSB has announced the broadcast’s new moderators: Hartford Courant columnist Kevin Rennie and The Laurel’s own Duby McDowell, President of McDowell Communications Group. McDowell and Rennie have both been regular contributors to Face the State over the years as political analysts. McDowell is a former WFSB political reporter who moderated the program from 1993-2000; Rennie is a Republican former state senator from South Windsor.
