On Monday, Connoisseur Media became the new owners of Connecticut’s oldest radio station WDRC FM, formerly owned by Buckley Broadcasting. The first order of business was the termination of several on-air personalities, the general manager, and the program director. The sale also included Buckley Connecticut stations WMMW AM in Meriden, WWCO AM in Waterbury and WSNG AM in Torrington.
Connoisseur Media CEO Jeff Warshaw confirmed that Mike Stevens, ‘Rockin’ Ron Sedaille, Floyd Wright and Grahame Winters were all let go. Notably still left on the WDRC AM lineup is veteran personality Brad Davis.
