I need someone to look into a situation at North Branford Int. School. They have totally renovated the school and since this make over 3 years ago, my friend who is a teacher there, and lost her leg 3 years ago to diabetes, can not get from the parking lot into the building by herself. When they did the parking lot over, they made the slated curbing too high. Her son or daughter has to take her each day to school and when they get her to the curbing, they have to turn the chair around and make a run for it to get it up the curb. She was told the sidewalk can not be changed because they have heated pipes below it to melt the snow. Once she gets to the door it does not open. She has to press a button which sounds the office to let her in.She has suffered this ordeal for 3 years. She has also been stuck in the elevator twice that I know of. And was taken out of it, not knowing how she would get to the first floor since no one could get the elevator moving. I know that they called the fire dept. to carry the chair and her down. This seems totally nuts to me. Can someone look into this without anyone knowing I wrote to you, or who the teacher is. There will be heated feeling if they find out I wrote you. Thank you Nancy
