As we reported last fall, Altice, the company that now owns the former Cablevision, has moved most News 12 Connecticut studio operations to Edison, New Jersey.
The Norwalk news staff – assignment editors, reporters, videographers – are still gathering news in Connecticut, but if studio production is required it’s being done in New Jersey.
Among the programs being cancelled as a result: the long running weekend public affairs show Focus, hosted by Tom Appleby. It will be missed.
