Friends tells The Laurel that despite the fact that broadcast stations are in the middle of the February ratings book, a memo went out via e-mail at Fox61 that news director Bob Rockstroh has decided to leave to “pursue other goals.” The interim news director will be Steve Farber, currently General Manager of Tribune’s 24-hour cable news station, CLTV.
Rockstroh, known as “Rocky”, has been at Fox61 for 8 years, starting as Assistant News Director.
Anyone know anything about Farber? Would like to know…
