The Hartford Courant reports as many as five Christmas themed films have recently been shot in Connecticut and will be airing this coming holiday season.

The Atlantic is getting into the newsletter competition. The venerable magazine announced this week it will begin publishing nine(9) regular subscription based newsletters covering a variety of topics. One is titled Wait, What? – which we note was the title of a Connecticut blog written by former state lawmaker and political operative Jon Pelto. We also note the newsletter trend was driven initially in large part by the success of Politico’s Playbook originally written by Mike Allen, the former Connecticut bureau reporter for the New York Times.
