    The New York Times published an analysis of efforts by the Federal Trade Commission to limit the scope of non-compete clauses across all industries.

    If the FTC is successful in forcing reforms, The Times reports, local TV may be one of the industries most effected by the change. Non-competes are standard fare in local TV news and have expanded in recent years to prevent even off-air personnel from making a move cross town.
