There are growing signs the deal between Media General and Meredith is dead.
The New York Post is quoting sources saying the deal has collapsed and although Meredith Corporation put out a news release Wednesday proclaiming that the deal is not dead yet, there are signs internally that suggest otherwise.
A merger between the two companies would force the sale of either WFSB or WTNH.
