Former Connecticut resident Josh King is making the rounds of various talk shows promoting his book Off Script.

The former Clinton advance man has written a history of the era of “polioptics” beginning with the 1988 Dukakis tank photo-op gone bad.

Speaking on Morning Joe, King said in the present day it is hard for one bad image to sink a candidacy, because the volume of content we take in every day makes it almost impossible for one image to dominate the conversation about public affairs.

King lived in Hartford for several years when he worked as a communications advisor for The Hartford.
