In the wake of Alden Global Capital’s new interest in the company’s newspapers, hundreds of Tribune employees have signed a letter to the company’s board of directors. They’re demanding commitment to increased staffing, investments in the newsrooms, and consideration of other ownership offers. Here’s a tweet from the Hartford Courant’s Guild:
