The Connecticut premiere of The Featherweight, a film about Connecticut boxer Willie Pep, is due to premiere this weekend at the Norwalk Film Festival. It will be the first time the movie will be shown in Connecticut. A private Hartford screening for those who worked on the film is in the works.
The movie has been getting favorable reviews at film festivals around the world leading to talk it may be released in movie theaters.
