After 16 years at the Manchester Journal inquirer, State Capitol Bureau Chief Keith Phaneuf is moving on. He’s been hired by the Connecticut Mirror which is the latest addition to the state’s online media mix and employs former Hartford Courant all-stars Bob Frahm, Mark Pazniolkas and Mike Regan.
Keith is widely considered one of the most knowledgeable reporters when it comes to the state budget. A Connecticut native, he worked at the New London Day for six years, moving to the JI in 1994. He starts at the Mirror on February 15.
