Photojournalist Yehyun Kim will start at the CT Mirror in June, where she will focus primarily on communities of color.

Kim has had internships with the Victoria Advocate, USA Today and Acadia National Park. She has a journalism degree from the University of Missouri/Columbia. Kim was born and raised in South Korea and studied photojournalism at the Danish School of Media and Journalism.
Kim is the second RFA corps member to be hired full-time by the CT Mirror. Kelan Lyons, who joined the CT Mirror last year, will continue covering mental health and criminal justice.
