An important symposium on police transparency in Connecticut is scheduled for next Wednesday in New Haven.

The gathering is sponsored by Quinnipiac University and will be held on the campus of Gateway Community College in New Haven. The panelists include: Chief State’s Attorney Kevin Kane, Tejas Bhatt of the public defender’s office, Jim Smith, the president of the Connecticut Council on Freedom of Information and a representative from the New Haven Police Department. John Dankosky, of WNPR, will moderate. There’s no charge to get in.
