Politico’s Massachusetts Playbook debuted Monday – written and edited by Lauren Dezenski.
We’ve written before about Politico’s grand plans to expand its coverage across the country beginning in states considered politically important in 2016. The Boston market is particularly important to voters in southern New Hampshire who get lots of their news from Boston media outlets.
The Politico strategy is to offer daily briefings in the style of Mike Allen’s D.C. Playbook and to launch or acquire political news sites in other big states.
Dezenski is the type of cover it all, cover it 24/7 reporter Politico is known to seek out.
Connecticut may be further down on the list, but the Mass Playbook appears to be a look into our own future.
