The New York Post is reporting that Gannett officials are prepared to walk away from their proposed take-over of Tribune Publishing.
Sources tell the Post that if Tribune refuses to consider Gannett’s $864 million offer at next month’s Tribune board meeting then the offer will be pulled.
Tribune owns the Hartford Courant.
