There will be some reduction in the newspaper’s workforce, although the precise number has not yet been determined. The transition will take some time to complete and some employees will assume different duties. Other affected employees will receive help with outplacement, the company said. “It is unfortunate that some very good and dedicated employees will lose their jobs,” said Editor and Publisher William J. Pape II. “We are working with them as they adjust to this circumstance.”
