Not knowing her personally, we are not qualified to make this assessment, but we believe it is fair to say this photograph of former Hartford Courant reporter Eliza Fawcett, on her first day of a one year fellowship at the New York Times, betrays a certain level of deserved self-satisfaction and accomplishment.
