Calling hours will be held today for longtime CT Post photographer and freelance journalist Wayne Ratzenberger. His obituary tells the tale of a very full life. Our hearts go out to his wife Elaine Ficarra, formerly of the Post and now the Bridgeport Mayor’s press secretary. Mike Daly has a nice remembrance of Wayne.
The wake takes place Wednesday, May 29 from 4 to 8 p.m., at the Larson Funeral Home, 2496 North Avenue. A service celebrating his life will be held Thursday, May 30 at 11 a.m., in the United Congregational Church, 877 Park Avenue, Bridgeport.
