Younger audiences are increasingly turning away from broadcast television, cable, and without question the radio. It may be inaccurate to say they are “turning away” because it is often the case they never tuned in.
With that changing reality as background all three traditional broadcast networks now have nightly streaming newscasts that aim to be the newscasts of record for the next generation.
Linsey Davis the anchor of ABC’s Live Prime summed it up this way; “The revolution will not be televised, it will be streamed.”
