Many CT media types know Larry Rifkin (left) who was Executive Vice President of programming for many years at CPTV (we don’t remember the details but among other accomplishments Larry somehow gave Barney a life on public television). He now hosts the popular “Talk of the Town” radio show on WATR. His son Wade is also making his mark; according to AdWeek he’s just been named one of the advertising world’s “Top Ten Digital Media Buyers” in the 30 and under category.
