In case you didn’t know, Saturday’s NBC Sports broadcast of the Kentucky Derby was produced by Lindsay Schanzer, a graduate of New Canaan High School.
Over the weekend she became the first woman to produce the historic broadcast.
Schanzer has five Emmy awards for her work in sports television. The NBC Sports crew at Churchill Downs numbered 250.
