We at The Laurel have enjoyed following the career of Samaia Hernandez who has worked in print (Hartford Courant), broadcasting (WNPR), and in government press offices. She has just started work as an on-air reporter at WNEM, a Meredith-owned CBS affiliate that covers mid-Michigan. She’s primarily working out of the Flint bureau and loving her new position.
