Veteran NBC30 political reporter Tom Monahan has announced that he will be retiring after the November elections. Tom is not leaving completely as he has agreed to do some political coverage for the station, “after taking a nice vacation.”
Tom’s last full day at the station is November 19th.
We wish him good health and a long (well deserved) vacation!
Tom will be missed. Not only is he a class act, he is a fine journalist.

Tom has always been a consummate professional. It has been both a pleasure and a privilege knowing Tom and watching him work. this is not the last we will see of him and we are all better for having him around.
