Speaking with a writer from TV Newser Thursday night in Chicago, Connecticut resident Joe Scarborough said he’s never been happier than he is right now with the way things are going at MSNBC.
The morning host, who has allowed for speculation recently about a possible political career in Connecticut, says he’s been vocal over the last ten years about disappointments he’s had with programming at the network, but he is very pleased with the turn being made toward hard news; including the return of Brian Williams as a breaking news anchor.
The question for Connecticut political observers is: How happy is he?
In a related note – we noticed during MSNBC’s Pope coverage on Wednesday, that Chuck Todd’s new afternoon program was referred to as “MTP Daily,” an extension of the Meet the Press brand to the cable platform. The show title was confirmed in a story in the Washington Post.
