We couldn’t agree more with The Day’s sports columnist Mike DiMauro, who marvels at WTIC-am sportscaster Joe D’Ambrosio’s ability to broadcast a UConn basketball game and later that night, anchor election coverage. We’re lucky to have Joe in this market.
But if nobody else will say it, I will: D’Ambrosio’s effort, effortlessness and expertise from Tuesday night qualify as a seminal night in state journalism.
