WTIC-AM has decided to fill the airtime left vacant with the death of national talk show host Rush Limbaugh with locally produced programming, according to Matt Buckler of the Journal Inquirer.
Starting Monday, Tom Shattuck, who has radio and newspaper experience, will be hosting from 10a.m. – 2p.m. each weekday. Shattuck has been filling in at WTIC for the past few months. He lives in Massachusetts and will broadcast from his home, but also do some hosting from WTIC’s Farmington studios.
The change creates a new variation for the WTIC program schedule. Brian Shactman will host the 9a.m. hour and Todd Feinberg will host the 2p.m. hour.
