There’s a further hardening of the lines a week after former Fox News anchor Gretchen Carlson of Greenwich filed a sexual harassment suit against Roger Ailes.
At least a half dozen of Carlson’s former colleagues have come forward publicly in defense of Ailes. At the same time the parent company of Fox News has launched an internal investigation into Carlson’s charges.
Ailes’s defense has raised eyebrows by arguing Carlson is contractually obligated to settle such matters through confidential arbitration rather than in a court of law.
