Shelby Scott, the long-time WBZ anchor who made a name for herself covering snow storms, died last week at her home in Tucson at the age of 86.
Scott worked at WBZ for 30 years and would occasionally come out of retirement to cover big storms. She served as a union leader from 1993 to 2001 and was one part of the first ever all-female local news anchor team in 1977 with Gail Harris.
