Long-time NPR host Robert Siegel has announced he is stepping aside as host of All Things Considered, but not entirely off the field.
He’s been with the network for 40 years, 30 as host of ATC. He intends to stay with NPR in some other capacity as he approaches his 70th birthday. The decision by Siegel will no doubt lead to speculation about a replacement and while NPR tends to promote from within, a reach for talent at local stations like WNPR can not be ruled out.
