There is fresh information suggesting the proposed merger between Sinclair Broadcast Group and Tribune Media is in trouble at the FCC.
Public comments made by the head of the FCC seem to indicate the commission has serious questions about whether the deal can go forward. If approved, both Fox 61 and WCCT in Connecticut would fall under the Sinclair umbrella.
When news of the possible hold up was made public the value of shares in both Sinclair and Tribune dropped on Wall St.
