Sen. Jeff Gordon (R-Woodstock)  discusses Republicans’ concerns about the state’s plan to start phasing out gas powered vehicles. Sen. Gordon is particularly concerned about the impact the EV mandate will have on farmers.

Sen. Saud Anwar (D-South Windsor), co-chair of the Public Health Committee, joins Mike to discuss safety for home healthcare workers, after a visiting nurse was killed in Willimantic. He would like to see legislation that would focus on safety protocols and training, escort requirements and risk assessment.

Matt Austin reports on a judge’s order for a new Democratic primary in Bridgeport in response to allegations of ballot stuffing. The order does not affect Tuesday’s general election. Incumbent Mayor Joe Ganim and his challenger John Gomes will both appear on the ballot, with Gomes on the Independent line.
