Mann during an appearance on MSNBC.
Good to spot former Day of New London and Hearst Connecticut reporter Ted Mann in the White House briefing room over the last week or so.
Now writing for the Wall St. Journal, Mann’s been positioned right behind Fox News and CBS News during the daily briefing. He joins about a half dozen other journalists with Connecticut ties.

ICYMI – Former Day of New London reporter Ted Mann was on set earlier this week with Mika Brzezinski(MSNBC) to update the latest developments in the Chris Christie/George Washington Bridge scandal.
His appearance came as three top officials close to Christie were named in an indictment by the U.S. Attorney’s office. Mann, of course, worked in Connecticut during the final days of the Rowland administration and last year found himself covering the Christie imbroglio(def.: an extremely confused, complicated, or embarrassing situation) as a reporter for the Wall St. Journal.
Mann gained additional insight into the inner workings of a governor’s office when he spent a full year behind the scenes of the Malloy administration for Hearst Newspapers. Malloy and Christie have often been bitter partisan antagonists.
