WGGB Launches Weekend Morning Newscast


WGGB, the ABC affiliate out of Springfield, Massachusetts is launching a weekend morning newscast beginning this Saturday from 7-8 a.m.  No news on who will anchor the show but it is designed to lead into the weekend version of ABC’s “Good Morning America”.

Newton Remembers

Before WABC reporter N. J. Burkett went to New York he was WFSB New Haven Bureau Chief Newton Burkett. During a 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony this past weekend in Suffolk County he recalled being in lower Manhattan that morning 11 years ago.
