No the sky is not falling, it’s just tax day and the scheduled first day of the first trial of the first former president in American history to be charged with felonies in four separate jurisdictions covering his actions before, during, and after his time in office.

Former NBC Connecticut anchor Natalie Morales is waiting for a new assignment after news broke Friday that CBS is canceling its daytime talk show known as The Talk at the end of the year. No announcement has been made about how the vacant hour will be filled or what will happen with the show’s hosts which include Morales, who also contributes to 48 Hours and CBS Mornings.

A company known as Glass City Talent, formed by two former Meredith senior leaders, Gary Brown and Patrick McCreery, has purchased NewsBlues.com a well known site offering daily updates on the television news business. Glass City was established nearly two years ago as a vehicle to invest in niche media businesses.

The Fox 61 News at Ten, the station’s original and flagship newscast, is marking 35 years on the air.

Not to be out done by a television station, WEBE 108 is marking 40 years on the air in Fairfield County.
