The Laurel has learned that WFSB traffic reporter Teresa LaBarbera is headed to WTNH. We’re told that she will take over Desiree Fontaine’s duties – both reporting on traffic and hosting the 12:30 pm show Connecticut Style.

She is so full of herself. She thinks she is super hot. PLEAAAASSSSSEEEE! She is cute at the most, not some friggin super model. Here is a Desiree repeat. Her ego is going to get so big her fat head will explode.

She already has a HUGE ego. I saw her at an event a few weeks agoa nd she wouldn’t even engage with people. Like she was better than everyone because she is on TV. Mind you she does TRAFFIC! Not prime time.
Teresa seems to be a thoroughly competent, likeable young lady. I have never seen this so called “super ego” in fact just the opposite.
She is young, attractive and still learning about talent and how to best manage her own. Give her some rope…and some respect. No job in TV is easy these days.
Teresa is the best thing on television. What a steal for wtnh. Watch their ratings skyrocket. So psyched I don’t have to watch Scot anymore, best news of 2010!
I can’t comment about her ego. I have never met her….but I’m sure she is making all of her friends (and family) at Pomperaug High School in Region 15 (Southbury-Middlebury) proud, especially Mrs. Niestemski (Stem). Someone earlier said “How is this a step up?”. Well, beyond traffic reporting she now gets to host CT Style….that might give her a chance to spread her wings a little, despite the fact that it is a local show. Good Luck Teresa.
Some schools boast of alumni in the medical, law and politics fields. Pomperaug is proud of it’s TV traffic girl.

Can’t stand her and her giant ego. Good job with reading a monitor Teresa. You should get tons of accolades for that indeed! That is such a special skill. I guess anything is a step up from traffic reporting- CONGRATS TO YOUR SUCCESS!!!!
Who cares where the cusie girl goes; at least she is hopefully smarter than to shoplift in a security prone mall…and, well, if you live in the Western part of the state, none of the CT stations report anything short of a murder. It’s not Texas folks…just dumpy CT, you can drive its length in 2 hours or less
WTNH is the winner and WFSB is the loser. Teresa ia a down to earth, beautiful girl with a great personallity and knowledge of her job. This “super ego” is nothing but noncense. I have met her and she goes out of her way to accomidate her viewers.
Please get this to Teresa. Do something with your hair. It looks like donkey dust and your clothes are not flattering.
yeah i agree – i can’t believe she is allowed to represent a television station dressed like that. – very tacky and cheap looking. god i can’t believe she actually thinks she looks good. she needs some serious style advice from somone who knows what fashion and tasteful elegance really is.
I never liked her. Her banter with Scot was one-sided, looked like she never liked it. I’ve watched her a couple of times on Channel 8 and she really is BAD. I just don’t know how she managed to get on TV.
