The Connecticut news photo of the week maybe the curious beluga whale known as Juno nosing around Governor Malloy’s news conference in Mystic.
We’re told it has been highly shared on social media and we’ve seen a few articles that described the staging of the news conference as flawed.
We’re not so sure in terms of polioptics. You can argue the whale was distracting from the governor’s remarks, but it is also true the whale probably got more people to listen to what Malloy had to say. So we say the photobomb was a wash for all concerned.
