  1. I’m sorry you didn’t like my tone. I didn’t like your tone, either, so I guess we’re even, but I try to be bgiger than responding like a snot when someone’s tone annoys me. I mostly fall short in that. You and I can discuss due process and why you put quotation marks around things like assault weapons, (See? I did it again.) but let me reiterate my original message: Wednesday night is not a debate. We are through debating, and now we are seeking to give people the tools with which they can act, should they feel action is in order. If you believe nothing needs to be changed, then the evening probably won’t be interesting to you. We will be listening to a panel of people who are already acting and might have something to share. I intend to come away from the event smarter than when I came in.As for fearing debate? I fear precisely nothing.
