Congratulations to our friend Steve Kalb who has been named a full-time instructor-in-residence in the journalism department of the University of Connecticut.
Steve’s appointment comes after 14 years as one of the most popular adjunct professors among current and past students. Steve, who will continue to work as a freelance reporter when his schedule allows, is well known for his practical approach in the classroom and his dedication to helping his students find work in journalism once they graduate.
Steve seems surprised he has been given this new opportunity at age 61 – but we are not surprised knowing his passion for the craft.
