New Haven Independent managing editor Tom Breen is moving up and will become the top editor of the highly successful non-profit news site.
He will be taking over from founding editor Paul Bass who intends to continue working full time but concentrate more on reporting, running the Online Journalism Project, and hosting WNHH’s Dateline New Haven program. So it would be inaccurate to read this as Bass retiring.
