Two years ago we wrote that we would love to keep hearing Joe D’Ambrosio on the air covering sports.
Prayers answered.
The Hartford Athletic (soccer) has announced that Joe D. will call the games alongside ESPN’s Mark Donaldson. Most matches will be broadcast on WCTX-MyTV9 and ESPN+.
Since leaving WTIC-AM’s morning show in late 2020 Joe has been doing UConn hockey on TV as well as UConn baseball on UCONN PLUS.
But now there’s more Joe. For 26 years, Joe brought the state’s listeners the UConn men’s and women’s basketball and football, earning the name “The Voice of the Huskies.”
