Three reporters from Hearst Connecticut Media are among the five recipients of this year’s Mitchell Pearlman Award from the Connecticut Foundation for Open Government.
The reporters; Jacqueline Rabe Thomas, Joshua Eaton and Brian Lockhart, are receiving the award for their three part series last year on Bridgeport’s repeated violations of the state’s open records laws.
Berlin Town Clerk Kate Wall and East Haven resident Lorena Venegas are being honored in the government official and citizen categories.
