Tom's Still on the Beat

It was with great pleasure that we learned Tom “Senator” Monahan is still roaming the state capitol on behalf of NBC Connecticut. Tom officially retired last year, but as mentioned at the time, he has remained on staff  to cover the legislative session a few days a week.  He indicates that this arrangement is likely to continue past the June adjournment.

  1. Good news indeed! Smart move when news savvy matters in legislative actions in Hartford. I look fwd to watching his insightful reporting. Thanks for the update. Now – if WFSB followed suit they would give you a ‘1099 shot’ and some air time and we’d all be smarter and better informed!
