Chris Cillizza, who writes the Washington Post’s – The Fix – is out with his annual list of the top political reporters in the 50 states. Laurel readers will have no trouble agreeing with this year’s selections for Connecticut.
They are: Chris Keating, Daniela Altimari and Kevin Rennie(Daily Runctions) of the Hartford Courant and Christine Stuart of CT News Junkie.
Cillizza’s list was compiled with the help of his readers who have been submitting nominees for the past week or so. Cillizza, by the way, is originally from Marlborough, Connecticut and went to Loomis Chaffee. Solely based on these Connecticut connections, Cillizza has additional credibility with us.
Update: Late Wednesday, Cillizza expanded his list of top Connecticut political reporters to include: Ken Dixon and Neil Vigdor of Hearst Connecticut Media and Mark Pazniokas of the Connecticut Mirror.
