Traci Neal, a Middletown native with more than 25 years experience as a reporter and editor, is the new managing editor of The Middletown Press.
Neal returns to the Middletown Press after working at the paper as a police and courts reporter from 1991 to 1993.
Most recently she was copy chief at Catholic Digest in New London, and formerly worked at the Hartford Advocate, Hometown Newspaper Group in East Haddam and the Journal Inquirer in Manchester.
