Employees of the Hartford Courant are the latest in the world of Connecticut media to be forced to endure rumors and speculation tied to the possible sale of their parent company.
New reports began surfacing last week of the possible sale of Tronc. The price of Tronc’s stock went up on the news. Tronc owns the Courant, Chicago Tribune, Baltimore Sun and other papers. It recently sold the Los Angeles Times and the San Diego Union-Tribune.
