WFSB morning anchor Irene O’Connor announced on air today that she is pregnant with twins. They’re due in June. Congratulations to her and husband Matt Fleury. Matt is the incoming President & CEO of the Connecticut Science Center, but we’ll always think of him as a former WPOP radio reporter….

irene, Congratulations on the twins. As the mother of 19 year old twins, I can tell you it’s double the work, but double the joy. I heard you say your Mom was a twin, in my family it was my maternal Grandmother whose name was Ann, my namesake.
