Ryan was a student of mine. The charges against him seem incomprehensible to me and to many who know him.
Equally his family. That Gray TV tossed him out on his ear just on charges and not on conviction is incredibly unprofessional.
At the very least they should have put him on unpaid leave until everything is sorted out To the best of my knowledge he has not admitted to doing anything. .
Just suppose he did NOT do the things for which he has been charged? Then what? How does he reclaim his life and his professional career?
What happened to the picture of the 2 politicians in Hartford who were playing solitaire and the one behind them on espn.com? I checked back today to see if you had listed their names yet, but now the whole thing is gone. I also sent an email to a bunch of friends linking your artice to them. Now they’re writing me back saying they don’t get it. What happened to the article?

Newsfan,
Thank you for asking. The Associated Press wanted to charge a fee for running the picture and being frugal, we chose to take it down. However, our friends at Capitol Watch (the Courant’s political web site) have it posted.

First, we love your site. Secondly, thanks for the quick response and helping to restore my sanity! For a minute I thought I was imagining things! 🙂
