The annual Bob Veillette 5K road race and walk is coming up on Saturday September 12. There is still time to sign up(in fact you can even sign up on race day).
The race raises money for Veillette and his family. Bob is the former managing editor of the Waterbury Republican-American. He suffered a severe stroke in 2005 leaving him paralyzed from the nose down. This is a condition known as being “locked in.”
