CNN correspondent and Yale graduate Clarissa Ward has recently returned from an undercover reporting trip in Syria.
Mostly from rebel held territory, Ward’s reporting and pictures show a country almost completely devastated by six years of civil war. Appearing on one CNN program to talk about what she saw, Ward observed it would take “hundreds of billions of dollars” to rebuild the country and it is difficult to see how it can ever happen.
The work of Ward and her colleagues produced a multi-media package published across all CNN platforms.
